The celebration of Christmas happens during the darkest time of the year. The week of Christmas has fewer hours of daylight than any other. 2020 has been a year veiled in darkness because of the Coronavirus. In a time when fear and uncertainty is all around us, the light of Christmas is needed more than ever. The lights that we use to decorate our homes and trees remind us that the Light of the World was born into our darkness so that He could overcome it. Even in the darkest days, Jesus shines his light on us so that we can walk in His light.
