Fountain of Life Family,

We appreciated the opportunity to share with you the planning efforts to expand our church facilities on July 27th. We made notes of your feedback and comments. Since then, the team has met and wanted to provide you with an update. One of the larger concerns we heard from you was the separation of the kitchen from the new fellowship hall location. We have asked Stitch to explore a couple of scenarios, including a warming kitchen within the proposed storage area, as well as getting an estimate of what it would cost to relocate the existing kitchen to the proposed storage location. As they work through these options, we will be exploring the pros and cons of both locations.

Thank you to all who completed the survey, offered feedback and asked questions during the Feedback Session, we have taken these notes, and the architecture firm will be utilizing them to help us refine the final concept design. On August 16, during the upcoming anniversary celebration weekend, we hope you’ll see a much-improved presentation of the plans and again have the opportunity to engage with us in this design phase. We will be sharing enhanced renderings to illustrate what we could have as a result of this expansion. Also, for those unable to attend our last session, it will be an opportunity to bring you up to date. This will not be a voters meeting, but an opportunity to share updates and continue the conversation. We invite you to join us for the 60th Anniversary celebration and see the exciting things in our future.
