Jesus, the light of the world lives inside of you. That light gives you the power to overcome every darkness : Comparison, Fear, Apathy, Lies
Every November, we take the time to stop and remember what we have to be thankful for. Counting our blessings and cultivating an attitude of gratitude can completely transform the way that we experience life. Thanksgiving is more than just a holiday or even a feeling in our hearts. Thanksgiving means that there is something being given and someone who receives it. It’s not just saying thanks, it’s showing our thankfulness.
We’ve all felt it – the pressure to be perfect. We know we can’t always measure up, so we try to hide our flaws, failures, and shortcomings.
The best time to prepare for battle is before the battle begins. Teams spend hours studying game film to know what they are coming up against and prepare their strategies for both offense and defense. Life is full of battles, but no one blows a whistle to start the clock. We are constantly coming up against challenges, resistance, and attacks.
The purpose and the heart of Fountain of Life is about seeing people connected to Jesus for eternity. Luke 3:6 speaks to the vision – all people will see God’s salvation. Verses 4 and 5 describe the work that we have to do – to get everything out of the way that could keep people from coming to Jesus. We want to pave the way so that people can get to Jesus. During this series, we will hear about the next steps that God is leading us to take as a church and introduce our goals for the Capital Campaign.
